Final update

Hi everyone,
Sorry for not giving news sooner. As some of you already know, I had been fighting with Eagle Global logistics (shipping company) since last Friday trying to get the motorcycle out of customs. Unfortunately, once the bike arrives in customs, receivers names can no longer be changed, so I had to fly back home. According to the last EGL representative, the bike should leave custom tomorrow and be shipped back to Atlanta. It is to my regrets that I have to abort the project because of unfortunate events that are out of my control. But things usually happen for good reasons. Stay tune...this is not over yet!

Chris,

You still have an opportunity this year if you have the time.

Start in Prudhoe Bay the second or third week of September and ride south. It is an easier route at this time of year.

For sure we'll stay tuned buddy!!

Now first thing to get done here is once you get back your Buell, you fire the incompetents who were supposed to be in charge of the shipping!! That company shouldn't be allowed to do that kind of job anymore. It's a shame one the numerous problems you've had there was particularly this one.

Take good care of yourself now you're back :o)

Arnaud.

PS: best seats for the dueling dragons are either the front row/right seat for the blue one, or the last row/left side seat for the red one ;o) Enjoy!!!

Wow, Chris...I'm sorry for what must feel like a huge disappointment to you. Considering the number of hurdles and natural events going on, though, maybe this was not meant to be right now. I'm excited for you for when the time is right...it will be awesome!
